Supporting Education, Healing & Innovation

The NENN Foundation seeks to improve and expand access to emergency, life-saving care for large animals in need. Through high-quality medical services, improved community learning on proper animal care, and greater support for future veterinary leaders, The NENN Foundation envisions a world in which all large animals have the chance to heal and rehabilitate.

Equal Access to High-Quality Care

In the perspective of the human health care system, which is publicly subsidized and insured, no person within the United States is denied life-saving treatment for lack of finance or socioeconomic status. This does not exist in the veterinary care world. Many animal owners do not have access to sufficient care or resources to pay for the treatment that could save their animals, especially in times of emergencies or natural disasters.

Improving availability

A significant disparity exists in the availability of life-saving medical treatments for large animals vs small animals. Additionally, there is a lack of educational opportunities that would empower farmers and animal owners to maintain the health of their animals. We will establish a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital that will bring the highest standards of care to families and animals in need.

Greater support for future veterinary leaders

Through public/private partnerships, The NENN foundation will create fluid interaction with local and state governments, universes, grade schools, communities and families who own and care for their large animals. This education will be provided through our teaching hospital and an accompanying herd of rescued farm animals, providing hands-on experience. The NENN foundation will support the next generation of veterinary leaders, by offering scholarships, Veterinary School rotations, and Veterinary Internships/Externships.

“With the support from the Foundation, we have been able to save our ponie’s life, our daughter has literally never been happier. We don’t have the words to thank them.”
